Did Andrea Brillantes throw shade at Ricci Rivero, Leren Bautista on Instagram?

Andrea Brillantes appeared to be not taking ex-boyfriend Ricci Rivero’s not-so-subtle shade sitting down following his revelation that he is now in a relationship with Leren Bautista.

In her recent Instagram Story on Sunday, October 22 — or a day after Rivero’s announcement — Brillantes shared a photo of herself in a Jeep with its roof folded. She captioned her post with the text, “paint me as the villain if that makes you feel better,” which is actually part of the lyrics of her post’s background music “Hasta Cuando,” by Kali Uchis.

The snippet she chose contained the lyrics: “Whatever makes you feel better. Paint me as the villain if that makes you better. Make everyone hate me if that makes you feel better. Whatever makes you feel better. Your girl talks sh*t about me just to feel better. About the fact that you’re still obsessed with me years later.”

Without addressing anyone in particular, the actress said in a separate post that “life is good, life is great” while including snippets of her favorite moments with her close friends and “Senior High” castmates.

Brillantes, however, has yet to make a comment about Rivero and Bautista’s romance, which was confirmed to the public last Oct. 21.

Rivero’s confirmation of his relationship with Bautista followed several months of speculation after his breakup with Brillantes in June, amid cheating allegations and alleged third-party issues pointing at the beauty queen-politician from Laguna. EDV
