Liza Soberano’s Hollywood film ‘Lisa Frankenstein’ out in February 2024
“Lisa Frankenstein,” which has Liza Soberano star alongside Hollywood actors Kathryn Newton, and Cole Sprouse, is gearing up for a February 2024 premiere, as confirmed by US-based film production company Focus Features.
A teaser of the film was uploaded on Focus Features’ Instagram page last Saturday, Oct. 14, which showed Newton cranking up a tanning machine which awakens Sprouse who accidentally bumps his head.
“It’s giving unliving… written by diablo cody & directed by @zeldawilliams,” the caption read. While the movie is set for a Feb. 9, 2024 release in the US, the premiere date for the Philippine theaters is yet to be disclosed.

“Lisa Frankenstein” revolves around a misunderstood teenager (Kathryn Newton), who falls in love with a “handsome corpse” which will be played by Sprouse. Soberano, on the other hand, will star as Taffy.

“In high school, we create these realities in our heads of how high school should be and how we should portray ourselves to people. So although she is very genuine, she has that in her mind at all times. I kind of relate to that. I am genuine, but I am also very cautious and take people’s feelings into consideration,” she was quoted as saying.
The former Kapamilya star finished filming for the Zelda Williams-helmed flick in September 2022, which she described as an experience that “pushed [her] to come out of [her] shell.” EDV
