Sarah Geronimo admitted that the lack of vocal and physical preparations took a toll on her health, which explained why her scheduled Pampanga concert with Bamboo last Oct. 1 was moved to a later date.

Geronimo’s label Viva and G Productions, the media company founded by the singer-actress and her husband Matteo Guidicelli, announced last September that her joint concert with Bamboo was postposted as the “Tala” singer was still recovering from an “unexpected medical condition.”

“Medyo nagkulang lang po ng preparation vocally and physically kaya medyo nag-toll sa’kin [at sa] vocal chords ko. Kasi kapag kasama mo si Bamboo, all-out ka talaga eh (I lacked preparation vocally and physically which eventually took a toll on my health and my vocal chords. When you’re with Bamboo, you need to be all out),” she told ABS-CBN News in an interview which was uploaded on its YouTube channel.

The singer nonetheless assured her fans that she’s doing better now. Following this, Geronimo laughed when she was asked if she’s “ready” to welcome her first child with Guidicelli.

“In God’s will. Ready is such a big word,” she said in response.

Meanwhile, Guidicelli quipped about wanting to have a “dragon baby” in the future.

“Sana [we can have a family soon]! Ipag-pray niyo, sana dragon baby (I hope we can have a family soon. Pray for it. I hope we can have a dragon baby),” Guidicelli said.

Geronimo and Bamboo’s Pampanga show was moved to Oct. 29, according to a statement from Viva Live and G Productions.

The “Dati Dati” singer and Bamboo kicked off their joint concert tour last Sept. 22 in Davao. EDV
