Donnalyn Bartolome earns best content creator nod at Netherlands’ Septimius Awards
Donnalyn Bartolome could not seem to contain her joy after she was nominated for the Best Content Creator award at the Septimius Awards in the Netherlands.
The vlogger-actress announced this feat via her Instagram page on Tuesday, Sept. 26, showing herself at what appears to be an airport in Amsterdam.
“We’re going international babies. I am a nominee at the prestigious Septimius Awards ceremony—as a Best Content Creator nominee. I was even more proud after finding out who the nominees alongside me are,” she said.
“Being nominated with these globally well-known, hardworking and inspiring individuals is already a win for me, because in my opinion they all deserve this award,” she continued.
Bartolome expressed her gratitude to those who have been supporting her contents and said, “I’ll work harder to deserve this international recognition.”

Aside from Bartolome, other nominees for the Best Content Creator honor are Aan & Matig, Mark Angel Comedy, Itchy Boots, Silo Entertainment, A Chick Called Albert, NikkieTutorials and BB Ki Vines (Bhuvan Bam), who bagged the award at the ceremony held on Sept. 25-26 (Sept. 26-27 in the Philippines).
Nevertheless, Bartolome received cheers and congratulatory greetings from her fans and fellow celebrities.
Bartolome made headlines earlier this year after she was accused of promoting “toxic positivity” on social media. This was after the vlogger advised netizens to “change” their mindset on returning to work after the holiday season.
Prior to this, Bartolome also found herself at the receiving end of criticisms for having a sexy baby-themed photoshoot, and for hosting a “kanto-themed” birthday party.
As of this writing, Bartolome has over nine million subscribers on YouTube, 15 million followers on Facebook and about 7 million followers on Instagram. /ra
