WATCH: Niana Guerrero wows Korean rapper Lee Young-ji with ‘Smoke’ dance challenge
Niana Guerrero took on the “Smoke” dance challenge and left not only fans but also one of the track’s singers, South Korean rapper Lee Young-ji, in awe.
The 17th-year-old Filipino content creator showed through her TikTok page her version of the popular challenge, which was choreographed by South Korean dancer Bada Lee for the dance competition “Street Woman Fighter.”
Guerrero was then surprised after seeing Young-ji—who’s behind the song “Smoke” alongside Dynamicduo, in her comments section, saying, “GIRL, I LOVE YOU.”
“[OH MY GOSH]. HI,” a seemingly ecstatic Guerrero replied.
Aside from Young-ji, Filipino dancer-actress AC Bonifacio and other digital creators complimented Guerrero on her version of “Smoke” dance.
Guerrero, whose dance video has so far garnered nearly 900,000 likes as of writing, then made an appeal to netizens to “not judge and compare.”
Other celebrities who took on the dance challenge include Bonifacio, SB19’s Josh; Korean stars V and Jungkook of BTS; Seventeen’s Hoshi and DK; as well as Itzy’s Ryujin and Yeji.
Aside from dance covers, Guerrero has also collaborated with a number of international artist, the most recent of which was with Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan for a TikTok dance video. EDV
