Sunshine Dizon hit back at a netizen who called her “laos” and brought up the estafa case filed against her, with the actress warning the latter to “be careful” with their tirades as they “do not know the whole story.”
The actress said this in response to Twitter user @AngManonood who argued that actress Pinky Amador has become more popular than Dizon.
“Poor Shine, nalaos talaga siya nung nag-try sya sa Ignacia,” the netizen said, apparently referring to Dizon’s transfer from GMA to ABS-CBN.
“I’m happy for Tita Pinky,” the actress replied. “Not everyone in this business is after fame, dear. May taong tulad ko na wala ng gustong patunayan. Masaya na ako that I’m able to create beautiful characters and be part of beautiful stories.”

In turn, the Twitter user posted a screenshot of a report about the estafa charge filed against Dizon last March, over an alleged investment deal for an online sabong business.
“‘Di ka lang pala nalaos, kung anu-anong kaso na rin pala ang nasasampa laban sayo?” the netizen said, to which Dizon answered, “Be careful. You don’t know the whole story, baka madamay ka sa mga bagay na hindi mo gustuhin.”

Dizon opted not to expound and give update on the lawsuit, but she advised the Twitter user: “Stop giving me your time and attention, dear. You’re making me relevant. Baka sumikat ako.” /ra
