Will GOT7’s BamBam add his own twist to the now-viral hit “Raining in Manila” by Lola Amour?
BamBam’s label Abyss Company and the Filipino rock band have yet to confirm speculations, but fans were sent abuzz after the K-pop idol hinted at a possible collaboration on his X (formerly Twitter) page last Monday, Sept. 18.
“Guess What? [Philippine flag emoji],” his caption read.
The post showed the GOT7 member in what seemed to be a recording studio where he’s working on a file called “Raining in Manila.”

The GOT7 member is set to meet his Filipino fans for a solo concert on Sept. 22, where his labelmate Sandara Park is one of the guests.
Born as Kunpimook Bhuwakul, the Thai idol debuted as the rapper of GOT7 in January 2014. He made his debut as a solo artist in June 2021 with his first EP “Ribbon.”
On the other hand, “Raining in Manila” has been making waves with its catchy tune and noteworthy lyrics, “It’s been raining in Manila, hindi ka ba nilalamig?” The song had since spawned many covers, and had been used as background music in advertisements and “alternate universe” fanfiction stories on Tiktok.
