Actress Aubrey Miles is still grieving the loss of her mother, Maria Perla Santos, who died recently in Las Vegas, Nevada in the United States.

Miles first posted about her mother’s death last September 5, but she did not provide any details on her Instagram post, just a quote card that said, “My mother taught me many things in life, except get through life without her.”

“How?” was her short caption on her first post about her mother’s death.

She would follow this up with her photo in what appeared to be a cemetery, then she uploaded a poignant compilation of her mother’s photos during happier times, and a video of her more recent birthday celebration, as “We’ve Only Just Begun” by the Carpenters — their favorite duo — was made the background music.

“Mothers don’t fear death. They’re afraid of leaving behind their children knowing that nobody will love and care for them like she did,” she captioned her most recent post. “As an adult, the only time I feel like a child is when I’m with my mom. I will never feel that anymore. The grief will never end.”

She also updated her followers on TikTok, as she shared a clip of her mother with the caption, “I love you so so much mama. Miss na kita (I miss you already). Goodbye for now. I’ll see you in the next life.”

Miles received love and prayers from several people including Miriam Quiambao, Sunshine Cruz, Camille Prats, Geneva Cruz, and her husband, Troy Montero, who commented, “Love you Sweetness [heart emojis].”

On his Instagram, Montero posted a picture of their family with his late mother-in-law. “Rest in Peace Mama [dove emoji],” he wrote in his post’s caption.

Meanwhile, Miles, who is back from the US where her mother was residing prior to her death, shared a photo of herself reunited with her only daughter Rocket on her Instagram Stories. “Finally back in your arms [rocket emoji],” she wrote in the Story.
