Just days after Kris Aquino asked Batangas vice governor Mark Leviste to cut off contact with her, eagle-eyed netizens were sent abuzz after the Queen of All Media unfollowed the latter on Instagram.
Leviste was no longer spotted on Aquino’s Instagram following list as of this writing, Sept. 4.
On the other hand, the Batangas-based politician is still following the actress-host on the social media platform.
The unfollowing comes days after she requested Leviste to stop reaching out to her — in a bid to share her “truth” on her Instagram Stories — where she pointed out that she’s in a more “peaceful state” after “growing apart.”
Aquino earlier lamented how her previous relationship with the politician was made public without her consent, all while she’s asking for privacy amid her “painful medical treatments.”
“Was I asking for too much when I asked for our relationship to stay private? Mahirap ang pinagdadaanan ko—I don’t wish this on anybody,” she was quoted as saying.
The ex-partners’ relationship was revealed to the public last May, but Aquino asked for a “pause” in their relationship almost a month later. Despite this, Leviste received a ring from the former as a “symbol” of their “love and friendship.”
Because of Phillip Salvador?
The Batangas vice governor has yet to make a comment regarding Aquino’s recent move on social media, as of this writing.
Just last month, Leviste posted on Instagram photos and videos of Aquino’s sons, Josh and Bimby when he spent time with them while visiting in the California where the actress is currently based.
Then, more recently the Batangas vice governor posted on Instagram a photo of actor Phillip Salvador during the 50th anniversary of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch), together with Senator Robin Padilla.
However, the photo appeared to have been deleted as of writing as it no longer appeared on his social media platform.
Salvador is the father of Joshua, Aquino’s firstborn son. EDV
