Gabbi Garcia was over the moon after American socialite Paris Hilton, whom the Filipino actress called her “girl crush,” noticed her and even followed her on Instagram.
Hilton gushed over Garcia and her boyfriend Khalil Ramos’ look at the recent Vogue Philippines Anniversary Gala, leaving a smiling face with heart-eyes emoji on Garcia’s Instagram post on Thursday, Aug. 31.
“[Oh my gosh, hello! [Be right back], I’m sliving this moment,” Garcia said in response.
“Sliving”—a slang term apparently coined by Hilton—is a combination of the words “slaying” and “living” which means being successful and glamorous.

Garcia then showed via her Instagram Stories a screenshot of her Instagram user handle included in Hilton’s following list.
“OMG, hello! [Paris Hilton] girl crush! Major!” the Filipino actress wrote.

This was not the first time Garcia had an interaction with a Hollywood celebrity. The “Unbreak My Heart” star was also noticed by Canadian singer Shania Twain in 2022, after the former slow danced to the latter’s hit song “You’re Still the One” with Ramos. /ra
