The Asia Artist Awards (AAA) 2023 will take place at the Philippine Arena on Dec. 14, according to South Korea media outlet Star News.

The ceremony features Asian artists from music, television, and film — particularly those from South Korea — where the best of the industry will receive the Grand Prize, Asia Celebrity, Idol Plus Popularity Award, and Rookie of the Year awards, among many others.

According to the report, this year’s edition is said to be a “festival of a different class” featuring various Asian stars while noting the indoor arena’s 50,000-capacity.

“The Philippine Arena is the world’s largest dome performance hall, listed in the Guinness Book of World Records, and has also served as a world tour stage for artists representing K-pop,” the report said. “AAA 2023 will be held at a large-scale venue that accommodates more than 50,000 spectators and will also show off a stage of the highest scale ever.”

This year’s edition will be organized by the AAA Organizing Committee, TONZ Entertainment, PULP Live World, while Star News will be the host of the event, per report.

While PULP Live World has yet to release an official statement, it can be observed that the concert promoter’s COO Happee Sy retweeted INQUIRER.net’s report on her X (formerly Twitter) page.

The ceremony is organized by Korean business newspaper Money Today, as well as media brands StarNews and MTN.

The artists’ lineup is yet to be disclosed, as of this writing.

The 2022 edition of the festival was previously held at the Nippon Gaishi Hall in Japan, where Super Junior’s Leeteuk and IVE’s Wonyoung were the hosts. EDV
