Korean stars Song Hye-kyo, Lim Ji-yeon, Suzy win big at Blue Dragon Series Awards
Song Hye-kyo bagged her third Daesang or Grand Prize award in her acting career, while Suzy and Lim Ji-yeon won the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards, respectively, at the second Blue Dragon Series Awards held in South Korea on Wednesday, July 19.
While it’s been 28 years since Song debuted as an actress, bringing home the highest acting honor in the awards show still makes her emotional, as she praised herself “for the first time” during her speech.
“Thank you very much. I love you very much. You always give me strength. I cherish that. I don’t think there will be an opportunity like this again. For the first time, I want to praise myself and say, ‘Good job, Hye-kyo,’” she said.
