It’s no secret that Joshua Garcia is one of the most sought after leading men today, that him joining in Tiktok trends, engaging in passionate scenes with leading ladies, and his dating life would make headlines. But when asked what he considers sexy, he simply said that he has a thing for women who “carry [themselves] well.”
Garcia pointed out that there’s more to being sexy than just “mere aesthetic” during a cover interview with local lifestyle magazine Cosmopolitan Philippines, noting that a woman’s “values, intelligence, etiquette, and manners” make them appealing.
“Sexy to me is not always how a person looks but more of how they carry themselves: their values, intelligence, etiquette, and manners,” he was quoted as saying. “What I find sexy in a woman… someone who carries herself well, the way she talks and greets everyone around her, is well mannered, [has] her values in life, including long-term goals not just for herself but for family.”
The actor then shared that he considers attractive women who “take good care of her health internally and externally.” and someone who has “healthy habits as a lifestyle.”
During the interview, the “Unbreak My Heart” star stressed that he’s the type of person who’s “honest” when it comes to dating, saying he wants his potential partner to “know [him] as a whole,” and vice versa.
“No best foot forward in the beginning. I want her to know me as a whole, including my flaws. Not being pretentious but just open, and the same goes for her,” he said.
“In my opinion, what happens between you and your partner should remain between the two of you alone. It is your life together. And your problems shouldn’t be shared to anyone because those experiences and hurdles can only be fixed by the two of you,” he further added.
Garcia is lately being linked with Filipino-French athlete Emilienne Vigier, after eagle-eyed netizens noticed the similarities in their Instagram posts on multiple occasions.
The actor was previously involved with lifestyle vlogger Bella Racelis — although neither confirmed their relationship — and actress Julia Barretto. The latter is currently in a relationship with Gerald Anderson. EDV
