It was a debate waiting to happen. Doug Kramer recently asked netizens who between him and his wife Chesca Garcia their firstborn Kendra resembles more.
In his Instagram post, the former PBA player posted a collage of photos — of himself and Garcia when they were younger, each placed beside a photo of their 14-year-old daughter.
Without directly asking the question, his followers easily caught on what Kramer was up to, especially after he captioned his post, “Let the debate begin. [emoji]”
His post drew hundreds of responses and reactions. Some chose to just leave emojis, while others cast their votes in favor of Kramer. One @yourgelicamarie commented, “Kendra is definitely the girl version of [her] dad. Carbon copy! Talagang kamukhang-kamukha ng daddy (She really looks a lot like her daddy).”
There were also some people who thought Kendra resembled her mother more, while some users felt it’s pretty much a tie between the celebrity couple. There were also “safe” responses like the comment from @jericksanchez, who said, “Pwede bang both na lang (Can it be just both) for peace? Hahahaha!”
From Garcia’s response to her husband’s post, the topic seemed to be one that Kramer likes to bring up from time to time. “Nanaman (Again)?!?! Stop it!!! Get over it!!! You won’t have her without me!!! Remember that!!! Remember that!!!” said Garcia, whose response met the support of multiple users.
Kramer, in an Instagram Story, also made a poll on the same topic.
The girl caught in the middle of the “debate,” Kendra — on her Instagram Stories — appealed, “Both na lang (Let it just be both) pls [emojis].”
The couple, who will be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary in October, have two other children — 11-year-old daughter Scarlett, and son Gavin who marked his 10th birthday last January. EDV
