Priscilla Meirelles expressed concern over the “skyrocketing” prices of goods in the country, as she recalled having “two overflowing grocery carts” with a budget that can only afford much less grocery items now.
The actress said this while showing the goods she bought from her recent grocery shopping, through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Aug. 23.
“There was a time I would go to the grocery and what I just spent today would result in two overflowing grocery carts. Today, that’s the best I can get,” she wrote in the caption.
“The price of grocery items is skyrocketing in this country and that’s very concerning,” she added.
Meirelles also added a survey on her post, asking her followers whether they agree or disagree with her sentiments. As of this writing, the actress has garnered 92% “agree” votes and 8% “disagree” votes.

Meanwhile, Meirelles earlier made headlines after she admitted having marital problems with actor John Estrada. The couple, who share an 11-year-old daughter named Anechka, have since mended their relationship. /ra
