Francine Diaz says no romance with Seth Fedelin while filming ‘Dirty Linen’

While their bond grew stronger during the filming of “Dirty Line,” their second project following “Kadenang Ginto,” Francine Diaz disclosed that no romantic relationship developed between her and Seth Fedelin.
“Dirty Linen,” which is nearing its finale, marks the first time that the two were presented as a love team.
“Yes, lumalim ‘yung friendship namin in a way na mas naging open kami, pero romantically parang hindi,” Diaz said during the finale presscon of the ABS-CBN teleserye. (Yes, our friendship has deepened in a way that we have become open to one other, but romantically, it’s not like that).
Diaz admitted that this being their fist pairing as a love team, they feel compelled to give their best.
“And siyempre heto nga pong ‘Dirty Linen’ ang first project namin together on screen, na makikita kami ng mga tao onscreen and parang this is the first show na parang somehow na meron kaming pinrove na kaya namin together. Gusto lang po talaga namin maging best sa ginagawa naming,” she said.
(Since “Dirty Linen” is our first project together onscreen where people can see us as a love team, it’s like this is the first show where we somehow got to prove that we can deliver together. We really just want to excel in what we’re doing.)

When asked what she would miss when they have finally wrapped up filming the show, Diaz said it would be her cast mates who she has grown close to.
“Ngayon po nagsi-sink in sa amin na finale na, last na. Ako po, super ko na-enjoy na nakatrabaho ko sila lahat kasi marami akong natutunan. And marami akong na-discover sa sarili ko at na-discover sa mga co-actors ko na tinulungan nila ako para mas ma-portray ko ng maayos si Chiara, na mabigyan ko ng justice ang character ko,” she said.
(It’s just starting to sink in that we’ve reached the show finale. I enjoyed my coworkers so much because I learned a lot from them. I learned many things about myself and about my co-actors who had helped me to portray Chiara effectively, and give justice to the role.)
In the series, Diaz played the character of Chiara Fiero, who turned out to be the sister of Mila, alias Alexa Salvacion, played by lead star Janine Gutierrez, who plotted against the powerful Fiero family in order to obtain justice for the death of her mother Olivia, played by Dolly de Leon.
The series also stars Zanjoe Marudo, Angel Locsin, John Arcilla, Soliman Cruz, Joel Torre, and Tessie Tomas. EDV
