Carlo Aquino says love for Charlie Dizon is unlike his previous relationships

Carlo Aquino couldn’t help but get emotional as he spoke about his love for his girlfriend, actress Charlie Dizon, saying their relationship is “different” compared to his previous ones.
A teary-eyed Aquino expressed his love for the actress during their “Magandang Buhay” interview, as seen on ABS-CBN News’ official YouTube channel on Tuesday, Aug. 15, when asked to describe his feelings for his “Third World Romance” co-star.
“Feeling ko hindi [pa ako nainlove nang ganito]. Mas ‘yung love na binibigay niya sa’kin ang mas nangingibabaw… mahal niya ako talaga. Ganun ang pakiramdam (I feel like I’ve never fell in love this way before. The love that she gives me prevails over everything… She really loves me),” he said.
Dizon, for her part, said her relationship with Aquino came as a “surprise,” as she noted that she was hesitant about
“For me, si Carlo ang biggest surprise talaga para sa’kin. As in. Kasi parang noong una, iwas na iwas ako,” she said before bursting into tears. “So, hindi ko talaga ine-expect ‘yung timing niya and all. Parang first time ko na-feel na, ‘Bakit open ako ngayon?’ Tas siya lang talaga nakagawa n’un.”
(For me, Carlo is the biggest surprise in my life. Really. Because at first, I was really avoiding it so I didn’t expect his timing and all. This was the first time where I felt, “Why am I more open now?” He’s the only one who did that to me.)
“Nagkaroon din naman ako ng relationships before tapos hindi ganito. Pero this is totally different. Ngayon ko lang na-experience na, ganito pala ang magkajowa,” she added. (This is not something that I felt in my past relationships. This is totally different. This is the first time I experienced what it’s like to have a partner.)
The celebrity couple’s declaration comes weeks after Dizon bared her happiness about her relationship with Aquino during a press conference for their latest film together.
Aquino confirmed his relationship with Dizon in January, although the latter addressed the actor as her “boyfriend” for the first time in July. EDV
