Charlie Dizon says opposite personalities put ‘balance’ in relationship with Carlo Aquino

Charlie Dizon opened up about her relationship with actor Carlo Aquino, whom the actress addressed as her “boyfriend” for the first time in public.
Dizon spoke about the status of their relationship during her guesting at the TV5 morning show “Gud Morning Kapatid” on Thursday, July 20. Dizon made an appearance in the show alongside her fellow “Pira-Pirasong Paraiso” star Joseph Marco.
Aquino was brought up in the conversation when the show hosts asked the actors to talk about the photo that would be flashed on the screen. A photo of Marco’s girlfriend was shown on the screen first, then Aquino’s photo came next.
“Opo, boyfriend ko po [siya]. Sobrang supportive din,” Dizon said while giggling, sending the hosts gushing. (Yes, he is my boyfriend. He’s very supportive.)
“First time ko sinabi sa inyo ‘yan,” she continued. (It’s the first time I said that in public.)
When asked how they “clicked” with each other, Dizon admitted, “Di ko alam e. Kasi ma-kwento talaga akong tao, tapos siya yung tahimik. So siguro, do’n na-balance.”
(I actually do not know. I am really a talkative person, while he’s the quiet one. Perhaps that balanced [our relationship].)
Speculations of a budding romance between Dizon and Aquino first came out in December last year after they were seen on a “holiday dinner” together. Aquino then confirmed in January that the two of them were indeed dating.
Meanwhile, the couple will be starring in the upcoming Dwein Ruedas Baltazar-helmed film “Third World Romance.” /ra
