WATCH: Dingdong Dantes posts special birthday video for ‘forever dance partner’ Marian Rivera
Dingdong Dantes looked back on all the dancing—and other moments—he has shared with wife Marian Rivera, who turned 39 on Saturday, Aug. 12.
In his Instagram post, the Kapuso actor uploaded a video compilation of sweet memories he has cherished with the birthday girl through the years.
Numerous times in the video, the husband-and-wife duo and perennial on-screen partners displayed their enjoyment of dancing together—both during their personal and professional time.
In his post’s caption, Dantes penned a heartwarming message for his “forever dance partner,” whom he married almost nine years ago.
“Stepping through the rhythms of life hand in hand, every moment with you is a graceful dance that never misses a beat. Here’s to my forever dance partner, turning another year wiser and more beautiful. Happy Birthday to the melody that fills my heart with joy. @marianrivera,” wrote the “Royal Blood” actor who, earlier in the month, celebrated his 43rd birthday.

In response to her hubby’s special birthday shout-out, the “Super Ma’am” actress commented, “[crying face emojis] Love you so much!”
In celebration of her special day, the actress-TV host delighted fans with a behind-the-scenes video of her fashion shoot, where she rocked different looks including a denim-on-denim ensemble, accentuated with a gold chain belt and a pair of quirky heels.

The longtime Kapuso actress was showered with so much love from several people including celebrities she had previously worked with. She received greetings from her “Temptation of Wife” co-stars Glaiza de Castro and Sheena Halili, veteran actresses Aiko Melendez and Shyr Valdez, and “Luv Is: Love at First Read” stars Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara.
From the couple’s Instagram Stories, Rivera seemed to have had an intimate birthday celebration with people close to her heart. In one of his Stories, Dantes uploaded a clip of their karaoke-loving eldest Zia singing Lady Gaga’s “Always Remember Us This Way” during the party.
The Kapuso stars, who also have a son—4-year-old Sixto—will be starring in the Mae Cruz Alviar-helmed “Rewind,” which is set for release when the 49th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) opens at the end of this year. /ra
