Kim Tae-hyung, also known as BTS’ V, will drop his much-anticipated solo album “Layover” on Sept. 8.

South Korean label Big Hit Music confirmed that Kim’s upcoming album contains six songs, including a bonus track, on community platform Weverse on Tuesday, Aug. 8, while recommending fans to listen to it “in sequence from start to finish.”

The listed tracks include “Rainy Days,” “Blue,” “Love Me Again,” “Slow Dancing,” “For Us,” and “Slow Dancing (Piano Version).”

The agency also uploaded a clip of the album’s visualizer on the same day, which showed photos of V plastered on what seemed to be a package for delivery.

Per Big Hit, “Slow Dancing” is hinted to be the album’s lead song as it’s described as its “focus track.” “[The song] is a ‘70s romantic soul style track that exudes a laidback and free-spirited feeling, just as the title suggests,” they added.

“Rainy Days,” “Blue,” “Love Me Again,” “Slow Dancing,” and “For Us” are confirmed to have their own music videos as well, although release dates are yet to be announced.

“V will showcase amazing new performances and make various appearances alongside the album’s release. Please stay tuned and continue to support V as he embarks on his solo journey,” Big Hit said.

The album details come days after it was confirmed that Min Hee-jin, executive producer of K-pop rookie powerhouse NewJeans, will produce V’s record.

Since his June 2013 debut, Kim will be the final BTS member to debut as a soloist after J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin, Suga, and Jungkook. EDV
