Vice Ganda and Ion Perez have gone on a two-day vacation from their work commitments, days after the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) summoned “It’s Showtime” producers over the couple’s alleged “indecent acts.”
The comedian-TV host showed photos of them seemingly taken before their flight to an undisclosed location, through his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Aug. 2.
“Labing-labing muna!” Vice Ganda said, adding an airplane and smiling face with heart-eyes emoji.
Vice Ganda also showed glimpses from when they were aboard the plane as well as their arrival at what appears to be an airport.
In a separate post on X, formerly known as Twitter, Vice Ganda responded to a fan, disclosing that he and Perez were given only two days for their vacation.
“Enjoy mga mahal! [Deserve] niyo yan! Ingat! Wag muna babalik agad!” one @Rinabelle12 said, showing a photo of the couple. (Enjoy, lovers! You both deserve it! Take care! Extend your stay there!)
“Naku, two days lang ang na-approve na bakasyon e! Keri na kesa waley!” Vice Ganda replied. (We were only approved to have a two-day vacation, [but] we’re fine with it!)

MTRCB earlier served a “Notice to Appear and Testify” to “It’s Showtime” producers, citing Vice Ganda and Perez’s gestures in a segment during the noontime show’s July 25 episode.
In the assailed segment, Perez offered cake icing to his partner using his finger. Vice Ganda, with a big smile, then responded to the gesture by scooping the icing from Perez’s finger before putting it in his mouth.
Vice Ganda and Perez confirmed their relationship to the public in 2019, got engaged in 2020, then had a wedding commitment ceremony in Las Vegas in October 2021. /ra
