Alice Dixson shares fitness video as she turns 54

A day before she turns 54, Alice Dixson shared a fitness video to achieve a fit and healthy body.
Dixson showed her calisthenics workout via a short Instagram video. “Raw footage of my first 30 days of my new self-care routine as I’m turning 54,” she said in her caption.
“Why??? I noticed a lot of changes in my body in the past two years. Not good; feeling weak, frequent injuries, weight gain, feeling low especially on energy, endurance and mood,” she explained.
While still of the belief that focusing on family is wonderful and “every minute is priceless,” Dixson said that “it’s also a lot when you don’t pay attention to your needs.”

With this, she finally implemented some changes last month with “a self care routine which included mindful eating and strength training.”
“Absolutely NO to fad diets, and YESSSS to lifting weights to gain muscle,” she emphasized.
Dixson said she posted her video “to inspire myself to keep going,” as well as her followers.
“It’s only been 30 days and not a lot has changed aesthetically except for a trimmer waist… Ironically di ako nagpapapayat but I lost 3 lbs while building muscle. Kasi I feel stronger and I’m starting to look good again in fitted clothes – without let’s stress that – WITHOUT DIET,” she said, adding that all she needed was “time, intention, and self discipline.”
During the recent GMA Gala, Dixson was seen in a tight-fitting long gown with a high slit and hugging her body in all the right places, which only showed that her efforts were indeed paying off. EDV
