LOOK: Kapuso, Kapamilya celebrities and executives mingle at GMA Gala

The Who’s Who of ABS-CBN and GMA networks further sealed their partnership with the attendance of Kapamilya executives and celebrities to this year’s GMA Gala Night, a historic event the further efface the long-running rivalry between the two companies.

The glittery affair brought the two networks’ brightest stars together with their colleagues from the other camp in their equally splendid outfits in celebration of their affinity.

The event was held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City last Saturday, July 22, where guests were given a red carpet treatment before allowing them to mingle with one another.

Seen during the events were ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak and COO Cory Vidanes, and GMA chairman and CEO Felipe Gozon and SVP Annette Gozon-Valdes, who even treated guests to a song and dance number.

But the most awaited of the evening were the parade of stars, resplendent in their shimmering outfits and arm candies.

Power couples Heart Evangelista and husband Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, and newly engaged Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque led the rest of the fashionable pack.

Also spotted getting cozy at the event were real-life sweethearts Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz, Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, Paul Salas and Mikee Quintos, Megan Young and Mikael Daez, Bianca Umali and Ruru Madrid, and Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi.

Kapuso actors Barbie Forteza, Alden Richards, Jak Roberto, David Licauco, and Glaiza de Castro chose to go on a more elegant route with their respective looks.

On the other hand, bombshells Andrea Torres, Kylie Padilla, and Max Collins turned up the heat in their skin-baring gowns that hugged their curves.

Acting mavens Dinah Bonnevie, Alice Dixson, Eula Valdes, Jackie Lou Blanco, and Pinky Amador showed the younger set that can give the younger set a run for their money.

Meanwhile, beauty queens Michelle Dee, Celeste Cortesi, Rabiya Mateo, Krishnah Gravidez, and Herlene Budol took the time to show off their queenly aura in glamorous outfits that are reminiscent of a pageant’s evening gown portion.

Perhaps, one of the most memorable appearances of the event were of Kapamilya stars Vice Ganda, Anne Curtis, Joshua Garcia, Jhong Hilario, and Vhong Navarro, who didn’t hesitate to show camaraderie with the Kapuso network.

Aside from ABS-CBN execs, also invited were TAPE Inc. chief finance officer, Bullet Jalosjos, who arrived with the hosts of the revamped “Eat Bulaga.”

The star-studded event also witnessed the awarding of the network’s top stars where Rivera and Dantes were named as the Couple of the Night, while “The Cheating Games” stars’ San Jose and Cruz bagged the Sparkle Loveteam of the Night award.

On the other hand, Alden Richards and Heart Evangelista were chosen as the Sparkle Stars of the Night. Meanwhile, real-life sweethearts Ruru Madrid and Bianca Umali were hailed as the event’s Young Stars of the Night. EDV
