‘Badjao Girl’ Rita Gaviola vows as daughter turns 1: I’ll do my best to give you a better life
“Badjao Girl” Rita Gaviola promised a “better life” to her daughter Kianna Mae, who recently celebrated her baptism and first birthday in a princess-themed party.
Gaviola and her non-showbiz boyfriend celebrated the occasion together with friends and loved ones, as seen in the photos she shared through her Instagram page on Wednesday, July 19. The event featured pastel balloon arcs as well as a huge castle and character cut-outs.
“I want to say [I love you so much, anak]. [Your daddy and I] will [do our] best to give you a better life,” she said in the caption.

In a separate Facebook post, the “Pinoy Big Brother” alum expressed her gratitude to the sponsors who helped her in making the party happen.

More moments from the event were shown by photography studio Kidzilla Studios on its Facebook page.
Gaviola introduced Kianna to the public in August last year, also appealing at the time to address their criticisms toward her instead of her child. /ra
