Miss International Queen 2022 Fuschia Ravena feels elated after she underwent sex reassignment surgery at an aesthetic hospital in Thailand, a procedure that she described as a “lifelong decision.”
Ravena took to her personal Instagram page on Wednesday, July 5, to share her “transformational journey” at the Wansiri Hospital, where she was seen posing at what seemed to be the clinic’s office.
“I am thrilled to announce that today marks the beginning of my transformational journey with Wansiri Hospital,” the transgender woman from Cebu wrote. “Thank you so much @jatiffany @missinternationalqueen @rock_kwanlada @kae_universe for helping make this dream come true.”

The beauty queen then spoke about her sex reassignment surgery in a separate post, sharing that she did “careful consideration and thorough research” before deciding to fully transition into her gender.
“Surgery, whether small or something major, is a lifelong decision that requires careful consideration and thorough research. I am excited and proud to be under the care of Thailand’s top and most trusted medical professionals in the field of beauty aesthetics,” she said.

The Thailand-based hospital also shared glimpses of the beauty queen’s surgery on their Instagram page last Saturday, July 8.

Ravena, who identifies as she or her, was crowned as Miss International Queen in 2022, making her the third Filipina to win the coveted title. Former titleholders include Trixie Maristela (2015) and Kevin Balot (2012).
The beauty queen is a known advocate of the LGBTQIA+ community, where she vowed to “spreading the message of love and fight for acceptance and equality” in June 2022. EDV
