Ahead of the 2023 Miss Supranational coronation ceremony on July 14 in Poland, the country’s bet Pauline Amelinckx has been serving head-turning OOTDs (outfit of the day) — looks that showcase her boldness when it comes to fashion and self-expression.
The Filipino-Belgian titleholder is not one to blend in a crowd, especially with her choice of style, color combinations, and patterns, and not to mention the patriotic spirit she exudes inside and out. Have a look at some of her OOTDs that are surely giving winner vibes.
Girl boss look
During a courtesy call at Congress with the 2023 Miss Universe Philippines top 5, Amelinckx went for a clean look, pairing a white slit-sleeve blazer with white trousers. Also seemingly going with a clean girl aesthetic, she had a sleek updo and only wore minimal accessories. But you can’t stop the Bohol native from showing love for her province, finishing the look with an “I [heart emoji] Bohol” bag.

Airport fashion
In her send-off at the Clark International Airport, the beauty queen displayed boldness with her color choices, not shying away from a monochromatic look. Amelinckx traveled to Poland in style donning a long asymmetrical dress that’s made playful by a backless detail. She completed her send-off look with thigh-high boots and statement earrings that showcased her patriotic spirit.

For her first look as she commenced her Miss Supranational journey in Poland, Amelinckx sported neutral earth tones with her brown slit dress paired with a beige trench coat. Though wearing a dress, she gave her look a casual feel by trading her high heels with white sneakers. But her sleek ponytail and big gold hoops still gave her that regal look.

For a night out on the dance floor with the other contestants, the pageant veteran was not in a typical cocktail dress. She instead stood out with something sultry — a flowy, green tie-up dress. She accentuated her evening look with gold stilettos and matching gold floral earrings.

In her train ride, Amelinckx stunned with a statement top — a bold floral number that showed off her toned abs, finished with matching puff-sleeved bolero. Aside from the size of her top, what made the top pop was its edgy urban details mixed with floral patterns. She made the outfit wearable by dressing it down with denim flared jeans. A common theme in her looks are the hints of patriotic spirit, which she exhibited here by wearing earrings that represent the Philippine flag and going with a native woven bag.

Amelinckx was declared Miss Supranational Philippines following the conclusion of Miss Universe Philippines 2023 in May. It took three attempts for the Bohol native at the Miss Universe Philippines competition to claim a shot at representing the country in the international stage, having also joined the pageant in 2020 and 2022.
Amelinckx is looking to bring back the Miss Supranational crown to the Philippines a decade after Mutya Datul won the pageant in 2013. EDV
