Pia Wurtzbach says being asked about having kids is ‘so personal’

Months after getting married to entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncey, Pia Wurtzbach spoke up about having kids with her husband, saying that being asked about their plans of having their own children is “so personal.”
Wurtzbach hinted that she doesn’t see herself being a mother at the moment in her Instagram Stories last Tuesday, June 27, where she responded to questions from her followers.
“When are you planning to have a baby?” a follower asked the former beauty queen.
“I guess I’ll start with this because literally every 4 questions I get, there’s one question about us having kids. Honestly I find these questions so personal. I wonder why this is considered a normal thing to ask though?” Wurtzbach said in response.

The Miss Universe 2015 titleholder was seemingly frustrated about the question about having a child as she pointed out, “First it was ‘Kailan ka mag-aasawa?’ Now it’s constantly, ‘kailan kayo magkaka-anak?’”
‘I will never forget my beginnings in pageantry’
On the other hand, Wurtzbach expressed her gratitude to those who consider her in pageant-related events, however, she said that she wants to focus on “other things” in her career.
The “My Perfect You” star said this in response to a follower who asked if she would be attending the global tilt’s coronation night in El Salvador.
“I’m so grateful that even after all these years, people still consider me [and] invite me to pageants (in the PH and abroad). I will never forget my beginnings in pageantry, but it’s been [eight] years now since Miss Universe 2015 and I want to build my career. So, I’ve been focusing on other things now,” she said.

With that said, the former titleholder revealed that she’s launching her own book “in a few months,” and is set to appear at a TED Talks video for the second time.
“I’m working on launching my book in a few months (cover reveal very soon) [and] doing another TedX Talk this year. Also working with brands internationally,” she said. “It won’t be easy to start again but I’m ready for a new challenge. I’ve always been a firm believer that you’ll never know what else is out there until you try.”
Wurtzbach confirmed her marriage to Jauncey last May 2023, although the couple tied the knot at an intimate wedding in Seychelles two months ago.
