Olivia Rodrigo just dropped a major bomb!

Ahead of the release of her upcoming single “vampire” on June 30, singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo revealed that her highly-anticipated sophomore album “GUTS” will come out September 8.

The 20-year-old “traitor” singer teased her upcoming album, uploading on Instagram the album’s cover art — the Filipino-American singer, lying down against a purple background, seemingly biting her thumbnail and wearing rings that unveil the name of her sophomore record.

In the post’s caption, the Grammy Award winner shared that the album is a record she is “so proud” of, adding how she “can’t wait to share it with you all!” “[You] can presave it now! xoxoxoxo [emojis].”

In a letter addressed to her fans, Rodrigo shared her journey creating the album, saying how she “made the bulk of this album during my 19th year on this earth, [two] year[s] that, for me, was filled with lots of confusion, mistakes, awkwardness [and] good old[-]fashioned teen angst.”

“I made it with my friend Dan [Nigro] in between New York [and] LA[,] and I’m so very proud of it. I cannot express how excited I am to embark on this new chapter of my life with you guys,” Rodrigo wrote. She also thanked fans for all the love “vampire” has been getting, sharing how “it really makes my whole life.”

On her Instagram Stories, Rodrigo reiterated her gratitude for her fans’ support and enthusiasm, and shared how making the album was “very daunting, very fun, and very fulfilling.” “I can’t wait for it to be yours. Here’s to all the good times ahead [heart emojis],” she said.

“GUTS” will be released more than two years after Rodrigo shook the music scene with her 2021 debut record, “SOUR,” which spawned hits such as “drivers license,” “good 4 u,” and “deja vu.” EDV
