The “Unexpectedly Yours” star would later on share more behind-the-scenes photos including those from a scene with Blanco and “Love You Stranger” actor Tonton Gutierrez. The three had previously worked together in “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat sa Akin,” where Cuneta and Blanco played the role of sisters. In fact, Blanco’s first film, “My Only Love” starred Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.

Blanco, on her Instagram Stories, shared one of Cuneta’s posts, adding a moving graphic that says “HAPPINESS.”
Prior to the start of filming—which commenced on June 20—an exchange between Blanco and the film’s director, Nuel Naval in the comments section of one of Naval’s posts on Instagram might have hinted at Blanco’s casting. In Naval’s reply to Blanco’s congratulatory comment, he told the actress, “Finally, I will see you again [heart emoji].”
“A Mother & Son’s Story” will mark the first time Cuneta and Richards will appear together on the big screen. Aside from Blanco and Gutierrez, the Megastar had previously revealed that “Missed Connections” star Miles Ocampo would also be part of the film. /ra
