LOOK: ‘Proud Papa’ Jayson Gainza grateful as daughter graduates cum laude

Jayson Gainza was beaming with pride when he attended the commencement ceremony of his daughter Ruby, who graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The comedian congratulated Ruby while showing moments from her graduation, through his Instagram page on Wednesday, June 14. Ruby earned her psychology degree from the University of Sto. Tomas.

“Salamat sa regalo mo sa amin ni mama mo,” Jayson captioned his post. “Sulit lahat ng pagod, puyat at pagti-tiyaga mo. ‘Yan ‘yung susi mo sa bagong yugto ng buhay mo.”

(Thank you for your gift to me and your mom. All your effort, sleepless nights and patience paid off. This will be your key in the next chapter of your life.)

Jayson also shared a clip from when he and Ruby went up to the stage to receive her diploma, and thanked his “TiktoClock” family for allowing him to attend the graduation ceremony.

“Proud Papa,” he stated. “Salamat [‘TiktoClock’] family pinayagan niyo ako sa importanteng araw na ito para makaakyat ng entablado.”
