JC de Vera is one proud dad as he welcomed his second child with non-showbiz wife Rikkah Cruz.
De Vera took to his personal Instagram page on Wednesday, June 7, to introduce his baby girl Laura, sharing a black-and-white photo of himself cradling his daughter.
“Dear Laura, Welcome to this world! You have been born into a world filled with endless possibilities, and I am so excited to see all that you will achieve in your lifetime,” he said in the caption.
The actor then expressed his excitement for his daughter’s life, saying he’s “overjoyed” to welcome her into the world.
“We are overjoyed to have you in our lives, our love for you will only continue to grow stronger with every passing day. I can’t wait to see the great things you will accomplish in your life, Laura. We love you [heart emoji] #Deveras #lauraamanda #girldad #girldads,” he wrote.
Fellow celebrities including John Prats, Vhong Navarro, Dominic Roque, Aaron Villaflor, Eula Valdez, Regine Angeles and Drew Arellano congratulated de Vera and his wife on the birth of their baby girl, as seen in the comments in the actor’s post.

De Vera and Cruz got married twice—first at a civil ceremony in 2018, then in a church wedding in September 2021. Aside from Laura, they have another daughter named Lana Athena. /ra
