If there’s one thing that remains unfulfilled in Eula Valdez’s acting career, it is the chance of working with Superstar and national artist Nora Aunor.
“Hindi ko pa siya nakatrabaho ever pero nakakanta na ako na kasama siya sa ‘Superstar.’ Sana magkaroon ako ng project with Ate Guy. Si Ate Vi nakasama ko na siya twice. Si Nora, wala pa akong project,” Valdez said after the grand mediacon for “Unbreak My Heart.”
(I have not worked with her ever, but I was able to sing with her in “Superstar.” I hope I can have a project with Ate Guy. I’ve worked with Ate Vi twice. With Nora, I don’t have a project).

Valdez also said it is also her wish to do action projects, something which she was not able to do in her decades in the industry.
“Ito, hindi sineseryoso, pero gusto kong mag-action,” she mused. (This, it is not being taken seriously but I want to do action).
“Hindi naman action na ano, may barilan, basta may pagka-pisikal kasi pagkaganoon akong tao. Gusto kong i-showcase ‘yung alam kong ability. Hindi ‘yung mother, mother na may ipaglalaban na eventually magagamit ‘yung ganoon. Hindi naman ‘yung all out action. Hindi ‘yung barilan lang o ano,” she explained. (Not that action, there’s firing, as long as it is physical because I am like that. I want to showcase my ability. Not the mother, mother who is fighting for something which eventually will make use of that. Not that all-out action. Not firing or whatever).
In the series which premiered Monday, May 29, Valdez plays the mom of Joshua Garcia’s character Renz who is against his relationship with Jodi Sta. Maria’s Rose. EDV
