Gabbi Garcia felt quite nervous but not intimidated by Jodi Sta. Maria in ‘Unbreak My Heart’
Gabbi Garcia admitted that she was initially nervous about being in a love triangle with Jodi Sta. Maria in “Unbreak My Heart,” but she’s grateful for the opportunity to work with the award-winning actress.
Gabbi spoke about her love triangle with Sta. Maria and Joshua Garcia during the show’s press conference, saying that sharing the spotlight with the Kapamilya star is “such an honor.”
“Grabe naman ‘yung go up against. Paano po ako lalaban (Go up against is too much. How will I fight back)?” she said while laughing, in response to INQUIRER.net’s question about “going up against” Sta. Maria for Joshua’s affections.
“First of all, I’m very honored to work with award-winning actors. I’ve learned a lot from them, lagi ko pong sinasabi ‘yan. Every day is a learning day for me. Every taping day is a learning day for me, and I’m very grateful for working with such giving actors, generous actors. Hindi ako naka-feel ng intimidation lalo na kay Ate Jodi,” she continued.

Ever,” she said. “So parang, ang dami kong questions in my head na, ‘Shocks, sana maging okay ang connection naming dalawa.’”

The “Encantadia” star, however, pointed out that “God is so good” because despite her initial hesitation, she was brought to a place where she was surrounded by helpful co-workers.
“But God is so good that he’s leading me to the right people to work with. And Ate Jodi is one of them. I’m just so [very] honored to [work with her],” she said.
One of the highlights of the teleserye is the love triangle between Rose Jacinto (Jodi Sta. Maria), Alex Zhang (Gabbi Garcia), and Renz Isidro (Joshua Garcia). EDV
