MJ Lastimosa says she wouldn’t be ‘Mareng MJ’ if it wasn’t for Stella Marquez-Araneta
MJ Lastimosa was elated over her reunion with Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) chairperson Stella Marquez-Araneta, as she admitted that it was the highlight of the national tilt’s coronation night for her.
Lastimosa was spotted hugging the BPCI chairperson, who was with her husband Jorge León Araneta, as seen in the former’s Instagram account on Monday, May 28.
“This is the highlight of my night. Seeing them again, in flesh! Was able to hug and kiss them [sobbing emoji] Ahh my heart,” she said in the caption.

The former beauty queen also shared that she’s “eternally grateful” to Araneta, saying the latter was the reason why she was able to have her own platform.

The Miss Universe Philippines 2014 titleholder was the host of this year’s Binibining Pilipinas coronation night, together with Catriona Gray and Nicole Cordoves, who are also “graduates” of the national pageant.
Lastimosa represented the country in the global tilt’s 63rd edition and finished in the Top 10, while Colombia’s Paulina Vega emerged as the winner. EDV
