Maja Salvador revealed that the family of her fiancé, businessman Rambo Nuñez, was one of the reasons why she decided to rekindle their romance—even if she once firmly stated that she would never get back with an ex.
During an interview with Boy Abunda, as seen in the May 22 episode of the talk show “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Salvador revealed that Nuñez’s mother made her feel that she was already part of her family since then.
“‘Yung time namin dati, saglit lang. His family also. ‘Yung three [or] four months na ‘yun, si Mom or Tita Marilen, iba ‘yung pina-feel. Pinaramdam niyang anak niya rin ako,” she said.
“Noong nagkabalikan kami ni Rambo, sabi ni Mom [Marilen], kwinento niya. May interview tayo, and she was watching.
Salvador also revealed that she had been in a four-month relationship with Nuñez, when she was 21 years old, before they decided to call it quits. The actress confirmed that they got back together at an interview with Philippines’ Ultimate Showbiz Hub in March 2019.
The “Wildflower” star also noted that her partner had to ultimately let her go, so she could focus on achieving her dreams.
At ito ‘yung second chance namin ulit sa forever,” she said.
The actress, who will tie the knot this coming July, confirmed her engagement to Nuñez in April 2022.
During a media conference, Salvador revealed that she would be taking a break from acting in films and teleseryes as part of her preparation for her wedding.
Ayoko namang mag-mukhang haggard sa kasal ko,” she said. /ra
