BTS’ V, Blackpink’s Jennie reportedly spotted together in Paris amid dating rumors

V of BTS and Jennie of Blackpink were reportedly spotted strolling while holding hands in Paris, amid speculations that the K-pop stars are in a relationship.
V and Jennie were walking in the street while three other companions were behind them, as seen in the videos shown by France-based journalist Amar Taoualit through his TikTok page and Instagram Stories on Thursday, May 18.

Taoualit was then apparently bombarded with messages from netizens, prompting him to clarify “facts” about the video.
“I simply filmed well-known personalities in the usual context of my work as a journalist. I specify that this video dates from before yesterday (Monday night, May 15) and that I posted it today so that they are not bothered,” he said.
“The quality is bad because I didn’t plan to see them in front of me and I didn’t have my camera. I was walking around in Paris and so I filmed on the iPhone. And yes, I saw them well. Jennie and V—I confirm. Now, we [are] waiting if there will be confirmation from the idols if they [are] together or not.”

Another France-based journalist, Ali Letaissa, then shared a photo of V wearing the same clothes and hat when he was supposedly seen with Jennie.
“[V] walking the streets of Paris with [Jennie] then parted ways [when] they saw the paparazzi,” Letaissa said, as translated to English.

As posts of V and Jennie swirled on social media, their respective labels Big Hit Music and YG Entertainment said in a statement to Korean media outlet Sports Seoul, “It is difficult to check about this matter.”
Speculations that V and Jennie are dating arose in May 2022 after alleged photos of them together made rounds on social media. Jennie’s talent agency, YG Entertainment, released a statement at the time, noting that they had “nothing to say regarding the matter.” /ra/EDV
