Lotlot de Leon admits being sad over not having grandchildren yet, asks Janine: ‘Ano bang plano mo?’

Lotlot de Leon, 51, confessed that there are times when she feels sad because she still does not have grandchildren, adding she wants to be a grandmom before she turns 60.
The veteran actress admitted this during a vlog with her eldest daughter, actress Janine Gutierrez, in which the latter asked questions she never had asked her mom. The mother and daughter did the question-and-answer vlog, shown on Janine’s YouTube channel on Monday, May 15, in celebration of Mother’s Day.
“Are you sad that you don’t have grandchildren yet?” one of Janine’s questions read.
“Sometimes. Parang I want na,” De Leon answered. “Sana or at least—because I’m already 51—by the time before I turn 60, hopefully.”
Janine let out a chuckle after hearing her mom’s response, pointing out that De Leon is still “super young” to be a grandmother at her current age.
“Ano bang plano mo? May plano ka ba?” De Leon then asked her daughter who stressed, “Wala pa.”
During the vlog, De Leon also opened up about her relationship with her children and said that she wants them to remember her as a hard-working mom.
“I’m not perfect but I try to give as much love, understanding and respect to my kids,” De Leon stated. “Know that I always believe in you guys no matter what you do in life.”
Aside from Janine, De Leon has three more children with her former husband Ramon Christoper Gutierrez, namely Maxine, Diego and Jessica. /ra
