Does Lotlot de Leon approve of Paulo Avelino for Janine Gutierrez? ‘I trust Janine’

While Lotlot de Leon did not categorically say if she approves of Paulo Avelino for her daughter Janine Gutierrez, the veteran actress nonetheless voiced her “full support” to whatever would make her children happy.
During the media press conference for her TV series “Love in 40 Days” held on Wednesday, De Leon was asked about the onscreen love team’s rumored relationship, to which she quipped not hearing the question properly.
“Choppy po kayo,” she joked by way of a reply to the question of the reporter.
She later responded on a serious note. “Janine is old enough to decide for herself and I trust Janine,” De Leon said. “Whatever will make my children happy — Janine, my eldest— kung ano man ang magpapasaya sa puso niya and sa buhay niya (whatever it is would make her heart and life happy) then I’m in full support of that.”
It can be recalled that Avelino earlier revealed that he and Gutierrez are still going out despite currently not working on a project together. The actor also wished Gutierrez, who recently celebrated her 33rd birthday, an “even busier and better career.”
Speculations that Gutierrez and Avelino are dating arose after they were frequently spotted together even after their TV series “Marry Me, Marry You” ended. The pair has yet to confirm the real score between them, as of writing. EDV
