Singer Ice Seguerra paid tribute to his wife Liza Diño on Mother’s Day, saying that she has become the “almost perfect” mother to her daughter Amara.
In an appreciation post on Instagram, Seguerra assured Diño that she was a perfect role model for her daughter after her partner would ask her if he thought she was being a good mom to her daughter..
“I remember conversations where you’d ask if you’re a good mom to Amara. You’re not the conventional stay-at-home mom. You live your life where your passion takes you. I can’t imagine you living your life any other way. You live your truth, and you are who you are, and our daughter sees that,” he said.
Seguerra said Diño should not have doubted herself because all she needed to do is to look at how her daughter has grown up to be “so intelligent and driven.”
“She’s compassionate. She looks out for her friends and cares enough for their mental well-being. She knows how to make people feel important. Her ability to understand the complexities of life and relationships at such a young age is astounding. She has the kindest heart, but she’s also fierce,” he said.
The singer-composer said that Amara learned from her mom that she will not let anybody define her, and is protective of her loved ones, noting that “everything she is right now and who she wants to be; it’s because of you (Diño).”
“You can count on her to tell you the truth once you need to hear it. Her heart is so big; she can give so much love. She’s a realist, but she’s courageous enough to dream of a better world. She’s not afraid to fly, because she’s seen you do it,” he said.
“I can’t think of a better role model and mom for our daughter. We’re blessed because we have you. I love you, Liza. Happy Mother’s Day!” he added. EDV
