Janella Salvador was over the moon following a chance of a lifetime to share the stage with Regine Velasquez, who even gave her a compliment after their performance.

On Instagram, Salvador gushed over her duet with the Asia’s Songbird at the “Asap Natin ‘To” stage last weekend where they sang a rendition of Adele’s “All I Ask” and “Hello,” saying this is now an item off her bucket list.

The singer-actress admitted that she was “nervous” in singing along with Velasquez, and then the latter told her on the spot to take some of her lines.

“‘Janella… Janella! Ikaw na kumanta ng verse ko’ was what she said because she wanted me to have more singing parts. Best believe I was nervous as this happened on the spot (which is why I kind of messed up the words),” she wrote.

Velasquez then praised Salvador’s performance in the comments section, saying that she’s “so proud” of the “Darna” star.

“So sounded great sweetheart ang ganda at ang galing mo I’m so proud of you. Sorry sa last minute ha nabitin ako sa part mo eh,” she said. (You sounded so great, sweetheart. You were beautiful and amazing. I’m so proud of you. I’m sorry for the last minute request, I wanted to hear more of your parts.)
