Xyriel Manabat is not one to get affected by unsolicited comments as she hit back at a netizen who seemingly tried to ridicule the actress by pointing out her underarm hair in a recent photo.

Manabat responded to one @jasminecomfort_00 who left a comment on her Instagram post last May 5, in which the actress was wearing a black spaghetti strap top while giving a closer look at her “Star Magic Hot Summer” makeup look.

“May hair ‘yung armpit (Her armpit has hairs),” the netizen said, to which Manabat replied, “Uhm coz tao ako (because I’m human)? So what about it?”

Fans then chimed in to call out the netizen and stress how body hair is normal.

The Instagram user later apologized to Manabat but noted, “Mas OK ‘pag wala. Hindi lang maganda sa paningin.” (It is better to have no [underarm hair]. It’s just that it’s not pleasing to look at.)

Meanwhile, Manabat received compliments from fellow celebrities Barbie Imperial, Christine Babao, Ria Atayde and content creator Esnyr Ranollo who were charmed by the actress’ beauty.
