Crooner Ronnie Liang announced that he is one step closer to becoming a commercial pilot, citing the highs and lows that he had to go through before he reaches his goal.
In an Instagram post, he shared a photo of himself with an aviation officer.
“Yey! I passed my Pilot Skill Test for Cessna 172 (Additional Rating). This accomplishment brings me one step closer to my ultimate goal of becoming a commercial pilot. Whew,” he said.
His journey, Liang said, was not always about flying high, “but every moment has been worth it.”
“The countless hours of hard work and dedication that I have invested in my dream have finally paid off. From sleepless nights to early morning practices, I have put my heart and soul into this journey, and I am grateful for every opportunity that has come my way,” he said.
Liang also praised God for giving him strength and motivation throughout this journey, adding that “without His guidance, I would not have been able to reach this milestone.”
He also extended his gratitude to his Pilipinas Space Aviation family, who he said were his “constant source of support and encouragement.”
“In particular, I would like to thank Capt. Yeshter, who has been instrumental in helping me achieve my dream. Your unwavering support has been a game-changer for me, and I cannot thank you enough,” he said.
With obvious optimism, the “Ngiti” singer said further, “As I move forward toward my ultimate goal of obtaining a commercial pilot license, I am excited about what the future holds.”
While he knows that there are many challenges that lie ahead in his journey, he is confident “that with the continued support of my loved ones, and the blessings of the Almighty, I can overcome them all.”
Liang is also busy with his Project Ngiti Foundation Inc. which has already been registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The foundation helps children with cleft lip and palate as it shoulders everything—operation, laboratory, hotel accommodation, transportation. EDV
