Gardo Versoza sells gym equipment to raise funds for second angioplasty

Gardo Versoza, who suffered from a heart attack in March, has put his gym equipment up for sale as he prepares for the medical expenses of his second angioplasty procedure.

Angioplasty is a procedure that widens and unblocks narrowed or obstructed arteries and veins to restore proper blood flow.

The actor, who had his first angioplasty also in March, showed himself dancing against the backdrop of his gym equipment, through his Instagram page last Tuesday, April 25.

“For sale: all-in-one gym equipment, compact, ideal for condo. [Reason for selling:] need to raise funds for second angioplasty procedure,” he captioned his post.

While it was not immediately stated if the video was taken before or after the actor’s first angioplasty, fans were delighted to see Versoza—who they fondly call “Cupcake”—active again.

Versoza suffered from a heart attack which his wife said was caused by “too much exercise.” The actor immediately underwent angioplasty and was only discharged from the hospital last April 5.  /ra
