Sharlene San Pedro elated after buying own car: ‘Sulit lahat ng pagod’

Sharlene San Pedro could not seem to contain her excitement as she shared to her fans her recent purchase, a brand-new car.

The “Goin’ Bulilit” alum showed a photo of her making a thumbs-up sign while beside the vehicle, through her Instagram page on Thursday, April 20.

“First time nakangiti sa picture,” she captioned her post. “Sulit lahat ng pagod. Thank you, Lord.” (It’s the first time I smiled in a picture. All my hard work paid off. Thank you, Lord.)

San Pedro graduated from college in May last year with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She also received a “Model Student Award” for her “exemplary performance in both her academic studies and professional career.”

Aside from “Goin’ Bulilit,” San Pedro also starred in various projects including the 2005 TV series “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit,” the teen sitcom “Luv U,” the 2007 TV remake of “Princess Sarah” and the 2023 dark comedy-mystery film “Ten Little Mistresses.”  /ra
