LOOK: ‘Mga Anghel na Walang Langit’ stars re-create angelic pose

It was a reunion for stars of the 2005 TV series “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit” Sharlene San Pedro, Miles Ocampo, Nikki Bagaporo, John Manalo and Carl John Barrameda when they re-created the praying pose featured on the series’ title card.

The cast reunited to pay tribute to the sketch comedy program “Goin’ Bulilit” which ended on Aug. 4.

Besides the comedy show, San Pedro also looked back on “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit”, as seen in her Twitter account on Monday, Aug. 5. The former child actress’s post showed a side-by-side comparison of the original photo and a picture of her and her co-stars 14 years later.

Ocampo also reminisced on the TV series, as per her Twitter post on the same day.

“Mga Anghel Na Walang Langit: Gigi, Enchang, Pepay, Dodong, Jeboy, 2005 vs 2019,” Ocampo wrote, listing their respective characters.

The TV series, which ended in 2006, tells the story of street children who endured challenges together. Some of its prominent cast members include Manila mayor Isko Moreno, Sylvia Sanchez and Johnny Delgado.

Currently, San Pedro and Ocampo are pursuing their respective showbiz careers. Bagaporo is a singer-songwriter and also a vlogger on her eponymous YouTube channel. Meanwhile, Manalo made an appearance this year on the TV show “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano”. Barrameda is engaged to his non-showbiz girlfriend. NVG
