John Estrada being ‘misunderstood’
John Estrada seemingly responded to bashers as he spoke about “still not being understood,” amid speculations of his unfaithfulness to his wife, Brazilian beauty queen and model Priscilla Meirelles.
Estrada took to his personal Instagram account last April 9, to share his thoughts about being misunderstood by “some people,” as well as a brief Easter greeting to his followers.

Estrada recently went on a short vacation with Meirelles in Oslob, Cebu, where they’re joined by their daughter Anechka, as well as Moira, Kaila and Yuan Estrada, the actor’s children with his ex-wife, veteran actress Janice de Belen.
Inah de Belen sends love to Priscilla
Inah de Belen, daughter of John Estrada and Janice de Belen, appeared to have expressed support to Priscilla Meirelles amid the beauty queen’s marital problems with the actor.
Inah left a comment on Meirelles’ Instagram post last March 29, in which the latter can be seen visiting a cosmetics store.
“Love you Ate Pri,” de Belen told Meirelles, along with a red heart emoji.
The two of them did not mention anything specifically, but it can be noted that Inah coincidentally said this a day after Meirelles dropped a cryptic remark about a “female that entertains a married man.”
Meirelles confirmed that she and Estrada have been having marital problems caused by “many reasons.” Meirelles did not further disclose the reasons, but she seemingly hinted that some women want to “destroy and steal” her family.

‘Transformation is happening’
After a public squabble that lasted for days, it seems that John Estrada and Priscilla Meirelles are in the process of repairing their relationship as divulged by Philippine Daily Inquirer columnist Dolly Anne Carvajal.
“Amiga, John and I are not fighting. There is no point in it. It is what it is. But transformation is happening,” Meirelles told Carvajal who asked about their “rough patch,” as the latter noted that she wouldn’t disclose the entire “emotionally charged” message.
“Sometimes, there is a need to shake things up for revival. Actions have consequences. Let’s see how this unfolds. I never enter anything I know I cannot handle. For sure, something good will come out of this by God’s grace,” Meirelles further added.
On the other hand, Estrada told Carvajal in a separate message that he’s “okay.” “I am OK, dearie. We are OK. Ayoko nang patulan ang mga ‘yan for now,” he said.
The columnist also clarified that she’s not taking sides between the couple “out of respect” for their friendship.
