There’s much that a pregnant woman can do and this Kris Bernal showed off in her Instagram video which caught her doing some exercises.
The Instagram video she posted yesterday, April 4, was her “very first workout in 5 months or since becoming pregnant.”
“I can now manage to perform a low impact exercise now that the majority of my early pregnancy symptoms have started to clear up,” she said in her caption.
“If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I am a beast at the gym accustomed to heavy lifting and intense workouts,” she added.
But it’s altogether different now because she revealed that she’s “so surprised with my low stamina and my overall lack of energy.”
“Body weight seems to have doubled and I could only manage a few repetitions. Nakakapanibago, parang hindi ako ‘to (It’s different, it’s like it’s not me),” she explained.
But she’s far from complaining, though. She’s not even conscious of how great she weighs nowadays.
“Deadma muna on the number on the scale. This is me trying to work out during pregnancy, not to lose the weight gain, but to prepare myself for labor and for life. Expectant mamas, what do you do to stay active while your belly is growing?” she said.
In a previous IG post, Bernal called herself a “half-baked babe” as she is on her “20 weeks/5 months and I still have a whole 20 weeks left.”
In the short video, Bernal proved that pregnant women can be sexy and can do away with maternity dresses as she strutted her baby bump wearing a tight-fitting outfit.
“Embracing the new pounds!! I felt baby’s first kicks this morning and it felt surreal, it melted me. Forever mind blown by my body and that I’m growing an actual human in there with bones, brain, and a heart. I honestly thank God every day for the miracles of this pregnancy and for each new milestone we reach! All we pray for is for this babe to be healthy!” she said. /ra
