Ai-Ai delas Alas calls husband ‘greatest blessing’ in her life in 9th anniversary greeting

To celebrate their ninth year of being together, Ai-Ai delas Alas professed her love to her husband Gerald Sibayan whom she credited as the reason why she came to believe in “forever.”
The actress-comedian greeted Sibayan by making a compilation of their photos since 2014, which she showed through her Instagram page on Wednesday, April 12.
“Happy 9th year anniversary as a couple, my darling ko. May our marriage be blessed with love, joy and companionship for all the years that we will be sharing,” she said in the caption.
“I always thought that a perfect husband is a myth, kathang-isip lang, sabi-sabi, kwento-kwento kasi dati ang lalaki sa’kin toxic. Aba, nagba-bago pala ang pananaw,” she continued.
(I [had] always thought that a perfect husband was a myth, hearsay and only in fiction because I had been with guys who were toxic. Who would have thought that perceptions can change.)
Delas Alas noted how her partner disproved such idea as she said, “Totoo pala na may lalaking maayos, may asawang mabait—meron palang forever.” (It’s true after all that there are men who are good and kind husbands—there is such a thing as forever.)
She then expressed her gratitude to Sibayan for being her “husband, partner, boyfriend, friend and provider,” quipping how they have proven their bashers wrong.
“I love you so much, my darling ko. Yes, looking forward sa 10 years natin next year (to celebrating our 10th year next year),” she added. “Seriously, thank you Lord sa greatest blessing ng buhay ko (for the greatest blessing in my life).

The couple, who has been in a relationship since 2014, got married in 2017. They celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary in December last year by renewing their vows to each other in Las Vegas. /ra
