The candidates of Binibining Pilipinas 2023 were busy introducing themselves at a glam photo exhibit when it was announced that Binibining Pilipinas Charities Incorporated (BPCI) chairperson Stella Marquez-Araneta made a “rare appearance” to show her support.
The launch of the pageant’s exhibit held at Gateway Mall on Wednesday, April 12, hosted by Miss Grand International 2022 fifth runner-up Roberta Tamondong, featured the 40 candidates unveiling their signed glam photos to the public.

But the highlight was a smiling Araneta showing up at the event to greet the candidates, including the excited pageant fans who wanted to see a glimpse of the BPCI chairperson.

The official glam shots, which was released by the BPCI on April 11, showed the candidates donning their fanciest white ensembles decked with flowers and feather accessories, as they posed against a bright orange background.
The photos were taken by fashion photographers Owen Reyes and Raymond Saldana.

The pageant, which will tentatively be held this May at Araneta Coliseum, has yet to announce the number of crowns that will be awarded during the coronation night.
Among the familiar faces competing at the pageant are Miss Universe Philippines semi-finalists Mirjan Hipolito and Angelica Lopez, as well as Miss Earth Philippines titleholders Sofia Lopez Galve Gianna Margarita Llanes, and Kiaragiel Gregorio, among many others. EDV
