“Pinoy Big Brother” alum Pamu Pamorada announced that she has given birth to baby Zaia, her first child with her non-showbiz fiancé Mitchell Hapin.
The actress gave a glimpse of her birthing journey, from going through labor to moments after childbirth, via a series of photos on her Instagram page on Thursday, April 13.
“Hello world, meet my baby girl. Yes po, sa lahat po ng nagtatanong [kung] nganak na po ako,” she said in the caption. “So much joy and grateful heart na safe naming nalabas si baby with the help of our OB doctor, [Bev Ferrer]… Sorry, ‘di ko [naachieve] ‘yung Jessy Mendiola giving birth beauty.”
(Hello world, meet my baby girl. To everyone asking if I have given birth, the answer is yes. [I feel] so much joy and [I have a] grateful heart because my baby was safe, with the help of our doctor Bev Ferrer. Sorry, I was not able to achieve the beauty of Jessy Mendiola while giving birth.)
Pamorada then expressed gratitude to her doctor for making the actress and her baby feel safe, adding that that her doctor made her into a “wonder woman” by having her undergo unmedicated vaginal birth.
“Nagulat lang din ako na kaya ko pala mag-unmedicated vaginal birth. Feeling ko at that time nag-Super Saiyan ako habang nanganganak,” she stated. (I was surprised I was able to endure an unmedicated vaginal birth. At the time, I felt like I became a Super Saiyan while giving birth.)
Fans and fellow celebrities flooded the comments section with congratulatory greetings to the first-time mom.
Hapin, for his part, shared the same photos from Pamorada through his Instagram page as well.
“Thank you so much Lord. Safe and healthy ang mag-ina ko (My partner and my child are safe),” he wrote. “I love you [Pamu Pamorada] and baby Zaia.”
Pamorada announced her pregnancy in November last year, two months after she made public her engagement to Hapin. The couple then revealed that they were expecting a baby girl through a party in December. /ra
